Asian American Power to the Polls

  • Spreadhouse Cafe 116 Suffolk Street New York, NY 10002 USA (map)

Asian Americans have one of the lowest voter turnout rates in the country and at the same time are a diverse and fast-growing group. Join NAPAWF*NYC for Asian American Power to the Polls to get involved, and learn more about voting in the local, state and national midterm elections!

Asian American Power to the Polls is a voter registration and engagement event: you'll be able to check your registration status, register to vote, obtain absentee ballots, learn about why voting is so important-- yes, even in New York--and get a brief overview on the herstory on Asian American civic engagement!

Come hang out with us! We'll share a drink, and discuss why Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander political participation is so critical--you know, the casual Tuesday night things :) Drop-in whenever you like and feel free to bring a friend or co-worker or just yourself! All are welcomed.

If you have any questions, please email! See you there.
