The Study Break: Celebrate Our Past, Envision Our Future

  • 39 Eldridge Street New York, NY, 10002 United States (map)

We’re interrupting our regularly scheduled programming of The Study Group to bring you ✨The Study Break✨.

There will always be causes to fight for, and organizing to be done ✊— so it’s important to take a break and re-charge. We know one of the best ways to do that is through artistic expression and community bonding.

In honor of it being half-way through the year, we’ll create art to reflect how far we’ve come and set intentions for the time ahead! In the two hour session we will:

-We’ll paint portraits of some of our favorite Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander feminist icons Each attendee will get their own canvas to take home.

-Goals. Reminders. Motivations. Recognize them, and then manifest them into a vision board or accordion book. We’ll provide magazines (although feel free to bring your own!), poster boards, scissors, and glue.

We'll provide all art supplies necessary. Attendees can choose to do either activity, or if time permits, do both! Unlimited wine and snacks will fuel the evening of creative pursuits.

Tickets are $30 and are on sale now. NAPAWF*NYC members can receive $10 off -- please email for the coupon code.

Unlike previous events, this event is ticketed to help raise funds for the NAPAWF*NYC members to go to our national conference Power Up in Washington D.C. in September where we will build leadership skills and connect with NAPAWF members across the country. If you are unable to attend The Study Break, you can still make a donation via the ticket link. We greatly appreciate your investment in our chapter and members.
